Sat 9 Aug / Wax Carving for beginners

Spend a Saturday morning learning an ancient jewellery technique in our Sunshine Coast studio with great company (this workshop is limited to 4 students.)
In just 3 hours, you will learn the skills to carve your own organic ring or pendant design from special jewellers wax using a range of tools and techniques, including carving utensils, files, heat & your hands.
Your finished wax will then be weighed on the day and we can give you a cost estimate for your piece to be cast in brass, bronze, silver or gold (depending on your budget.) *Please note this is an additional fee.
The wax will then be sent away to our production house to be cast and returned to you approximately 3 weeks later, cleaned, polished and ready to wear.
Time: 9.30am - 12.30pm
*We provide tea, coffee and biscuits during this workshop.
